Mildred B. Green

Mildred B. Green, age 95 of Lincoln, died Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Lincoln. She was born November 13, 1908 in York, NE to Ernest e. and Lula (McCoy) Mason and graduated from York High School in 1927. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Lincoln, United Methodist Women and loved being around her grandchildren. On September 17, 1927, she was married to George Green in York.

She is survived by her daughter Lola and her husband Gordon Yocum of Lincoln; granddaughter Gayle and her husband Roger Cox of Lincoln, great-grandson Russell Cox of Lincoln and great-granddaughter Anna Cox also of Lincoln; her brother Kenneth and his wife Bernice Mason of York and sister Ardith Luth of Utica. Many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband George and two brothers, Clarence and Floyd Mason.

Graveside services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery at York with the Reverend Dennis Hanneman officiating. Memorial services will then be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Lincoln.
