Alan W. Morava, age 55 of York, NE, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026 in York. He was born on August 3, 1970 to Robert and Nancy (McWain) Morava in Geneva, NE.
Alan just started working at Arby’s and enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved playing frisbee golf with his friend James, spending time playing video games, watching baseball, and enjoying life with his beloved dog and loyal companion, Spade.
Alan is survived by his brother Daniel (Mandy) Nissen of Utica, NE; step father Robert Peppie of Gresham, NE; cousin Gina Myers of Joplin, MO. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Donovan Nissen of Seward, NE; Danielle (Jeff) Lupo of Utica; Dylan Nissen of Beaver Crossing, NE; Dalaina Nissen of York; Jade (Matt) Idhe of York and best friend Danny Meyers of York.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Brian Nissen, and Uncle Chuck McWain.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Alan has been cremated. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to York’s Adopt-A-Pet.
