Amanda had previously worked as a Med Aide at the Mahoney House and Willow Brook. She was a member of the Stromsburg United Methodist Church. Amanda enjoyed writing poetry, with many of her poems published. She loved cooking and enjoyed animals. Amanda loved to make people happy.
She is survived by her son Ayden Larson of Stromsburg; mother Penny Hulse of York; step-father Bobbie Hulse of Utica, NE; sister Brandi Stebbins of York; brother Kevin Stebbins of Winter Park, FL; grandmother Jane Johnson of York; aunt Sue Dalton of York; uncle Ken Stebbins of Palm Bay, FL; aunt Valerie (Eric) Phillips of Tucson, AZ; uncle Wesley Stebbins (Anita Seekell) of Kokomo, Indiana; niece Kinadee Hoit of York; nephew Kameron McClintock of York; father-in-law and mother-in-law Scott and Terry Larson of Stromsburg; and step-grandparents Ron and Becky Hulse of Utica and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, August 22, 2014 at Metz Chapel with the Reverend Dan Spearow officiating. Amanda will be cremated following the service and inurnment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the mortuary from 1pm-9pm with her family greeting friends from 7-8:30 that evening.
