Billiker “Bill” R. Read, age 59 of York, NE died Friday, August 1, 2025 in Grand Island, NE. He was born on October 18, 1965 to Reverend Ben and Stella (Hennigh) Read in Denison, TX.
Bill was a jack of all trades; and had a special passion for working on cars and fixing TVs. Above all else, he was a loving and caring father.
He is survived by his sons Noah Read (significant other Haili Bullock) of Seward, NE; Sam Read (significant other Savannah Arrants) of Grand Island; brother Davyd (Rebecca) Read of Houston, TX; sister Kasi (Chris) Baudo of Corinth, TX; sister Krysla (Greg) Darden of Wichita Falls, TX; ex-wife Brenda (Greg) Pinkney of Waco, NE; and mother Stella Read of Wichita Falls.
He was preceded in death by his father Reverend Ben.
