Carol Eaden – Metz Mortuary

    Carol Sue Eaden, age 53 of Bradshaw, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in York.

    She was born July 27, 1962 in Eugene, Ore. to Stanley and Dorothy (Butters) Hall. Carol worked at the York Wal-Mart store in the merchandising department, a job that she loved. She was a big fan of the Oregon Ducks football team. Carol and Thomas loved traveling and often took road trips to the races, the zoo and various other places. They always looked forward to holidays with their families.

    Carol is survived by her other half, Thomas Morton of Bradshaw; two daughters, Crystal Eaden of Tucson, Ariz. and Tracy (Rob) Somers of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren, Stephen Eaden, Kyrie Somers and Kami Somers; three sisters, Karen (Scott) Beagle of Washington State, Connie of Washington State and Linda of Florida; one brother, Ben Hall of Portland, Ore.  

    Carol is also survived by two step-children, Lorraine Morton of Colby, Kan. and Bradley Morton of Bradshaw; two step-grandchildren, Keeyon Morton and Jackson Morton and parents, Larry and Twyla Richards of Hoxie, Kan.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark and an infant granddaughter, Loralie.

    Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Metz Chapel in York. Carol has been cremated with no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.​
