Carolyn D. Blow, age 78 of Lincoln, NE, died Thursday, April 23, 2026 in Lincoln. She was born on November 16, 1947 to Lawrence and Julia Mars in Burwell, NE. She was united in marriage to William Wray in August of 1968 in York, NE. Following their divorce, she was united in marriage to Ron Blow in York.
She was an avid reader who found joy in the simple moments of life, especially those spent with her family and beloved grandchildren. Her caring nature shone through in her work as a paraprofessional, where she dedicated herself to supporting children with disabilities and making a difference in their lives. She also had a deep love for country music. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared with those around her.
She is survived by her son Jeff Wray of Lincoln, daughters Brenda Wray of Lincoln, Sherri (Mario Mercado) Wray Davie, FL, grandchildren: Trenton Blundell of Lincoln, Hailey Reiser of Davie, Hunter West of McCool Junction, NE, Treyton Wray of Lincoln, great grandchildren Grayson Mick of Davie, Luella Reiser of Davie, and sister Pat (Joe) Epp of Elm Creek, NE.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, two brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the Metz Chapel in York. Interment will follow in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary in York. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
