Casey Marie Erdkamp, age 38 of York, NE passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026 in York. She was born on November 27, 1987 to Richard and Marcia (Krasser) Erdkamp in York.
Casey graduated from York High School in 2006. She later worked at Chances R, where she served as the Catering Director and more for about ten years. She was known for her strong work ethic and dedication, often devoting all her time to working; loving all of her customers, clients, and co-workers from her heart. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed watching Gordon Ramsey and Wheel of Fortune. Above all, she valued her time spent with her family and friends. She will be remembered for the joy and love she brought to those around her, so much love!!
She is survived by her sons Gabriel Weaver of Geneva, NE; Blake Weaver of Geneva; parents Richard and Marcia Erdkamp of York; siblings Kerry Erdkamp of Lincoln, NE; Corey (Shana) Erdkamp of Gretna; Brian (Bambi) Erdkamp of York; two nieces and five nephews; one great niece and one great nephew; significant other Shawn Allison of York; tons of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard Edward and Eleanor “Blondie” Erdkamp, and Rex and Virginia Krasser, as well as her great grandparents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, April 27, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in York with the Reverend Father John Sullivan officiating. Following the Mass, interment will be held in the St. Joseph Cemetery in York. Visitation will be held from 1-8 pm on Sunday at the mortuary. A rosary will be said at 5 pm on Sunday at Metz Mortuary, with family greeting friends after the rosary.
