Clarice Ann Robinson, age 96 of York, NE, died Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in York. Clarice was born in Guthrie Center, IA on July 7, 1929 to Gerald and Burma (Brumbaugh) Slaybaugh. She was baptized in Christian faith on December 31, 1939 at First Christian Church in Guthrie Center, IA. She married M. Keith Robinson January 26, 1947 in Guthrie Center, IA.
In 1960 they moved to York, NE. She worked 25 years at Lunner Abstract Company and was manager for 17 years. She enjoyed playing bridge, quilting and her grandchildren.
Clarice is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline (Lee) Mann of Long Grove, IL, and Diana (Byron) Schlueter of York, grandchildren Robin Petersen of CO, Michael (Kelly) Petersen of Crystal Lake, IL, Tracey Evans of York, and Troy (Bobbie) Schlueter of Schuyler, NE, numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Keith, parents, brother Robert, sisters Phyllis and Mildred, one nephew, one niece, and son-in-law Ronald.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2026 at Metz Chapel in York. Inurnment to follow in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Clarice has been cremated. No viewing, however, there will visitation from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday, with the family greeting friends from 3-4:00 p.m. that afternoon, all at Metz Mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
