It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, Clint Dale Frisbie. He died in his sleep on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg, NE, where he had resided for the past year. He had been struggling with ALS for more than 6 years.
Clint was born in Enid, OK August 14, 1971 to Noel and Joyce Frisbie. He graduated from York High School in 1990. He then attended UTI in Phoenix, where he had 100% attendance and straight A’s. He wanted to learn all he could! He left with some ASE Ratings and shortly after earned the highest ASE Rating offered.
Clint was fascinated with cars, trucks, and equipment from a very young age. He, actually, slept with his big Tonka backhoe! At the age of four, he sat up in a tree and watched a bulldozer work on our acreage for hours. Every vehicle he had “needed” to be fixed to “make it better”!! He carried his desire to make vehicles perform BETTER into his vehicle repair work. He owned a mechanic’s shop in York, NE then in Lincoln, NE. His pricing was fair and he often added some “touches” for free. He took the time to visit with anyone who had questions. He went out of his way to make sure customers knew what he was doing to their vehicle and to watch for issues that might come up. He was VERY EXCITED when he got the chance to do “performance work” and he became quite known for his excellence in that area.
Clint was a very caring father, son, & friend. He loved his daughter, family, and friends very much and told them so frequently.
Clint is survived by his daughter, Skylar Frisbie, his parents, Noel and Joyce Frisbie of Bradshaw, NE, and his brother L Wade Frisbie (Ben Rodriguez) of Denver, CO.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Chad Frisbie, fraternal grandparents: Leonard and Jean Frisbie, and maternal grandparents: Dr. Lyle and Barbara Furst.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held in the future. No services at this time.
Two organizations have been greatly appreciated during his journey with ALS. ALS in the Heartland had been an invaluable resource and had supplied our family with information and so many support items that have been truly a blessing for Clint and us! Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg, NE has been his home for the past year. Their caring attention to Clint’s needs truly made it a “Home” for him. The staff went out of their way to take the best care possible for him. We would ask that any Memorial you may wish to give in Clint’s name, you consider giving to either or both of these WONDERFUL ORGANIZATIONS! Thank YOU!!
