Delilah “Dee” L. Dey, age 88 of Waco, NE died Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Georgetown, TX. She was born September 21, 1937 at Waco, NE to Lowell and Dorothy (Nowels) Lindstrom. On February 15, 1991 she was reunited in marriage to Ronald R Dey at Madison, NE after being married September 29, 1956 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Delilah was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Gresham. She retired from cooking at Delta Zeta Sorority in Lincoln, NE. She always had a love for cooking, canning, baking gardening, animals, crafting, organizing, bookkeeping, and her family.
She is survived by three children Dotty (Eric), Donna (Bob) and Russell (Karen), her eleven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lowell and Dorothy Lindstrom, brother Don, sister Clysta, sister in law Betty, brother in law John, son in law Brian, niece Susan and her beloved husband Ronald R Dey.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Gresham Presbyterian Church. Inurnment will follow the service at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Gresham. Delilah has chosen cremation so there will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to her family or donated to the Alzheimer’s Association or Adopt-A-Pet of York.
