Diane J. Young, 49, of York died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, in York. She was born Nov. 27, 1953, in Henderson to Richard and Ardith (Peters) Regier. She was a 1972 graduate of Hampton High School and married Jerry L. Young on Aug. 27, 1977, in York. Diane was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry of York; daughter, Marissa Young of Lincoln; son, Travis Young of York; her parents, Richard and Ardith Regier of Henderson; sisters, LaVonne (Terry) Smith of Hampton and Sandra (Jess) Huebert of Aurora; brother, Randy (JoAnnette) Regier of Hampton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in York. Memorials may be sent in care of the family. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., Thursday, at Metz Mortuary in York which is in charge of arrangements.
