    Donald A. Buller, age 81, of Henderson, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at Henderson. 

    He was born May 5, 1932 in York County to Albert A. and Louise (Epp) Buller. Don and Shirley Penner were united in marriage on June 11, 1954 at Henderson. The union was blessed with three daughters, Teresa, Libby and Karen.

    Don was the administrator of the Henderson Hospital before moving to Stromsburg where he was the administrator of Annie Jeffrey Memorial Hospital for 22 years. Following his retirement, he and Shirley returned to Henderson where Don worked part time for Metz Mortuary. Don was an active member of Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson.

    Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley of Henderson; daughters, Teresa (Dale) Regier of Abbottsford, British Columbia, Libby (Scott) Brettmann of Fremont and Karen (Mark) Dick of Henderson; two brothers, Dale (JoAnne) Buller of Henderson and Leroy (Connie) Trautman of Hastings; one sister, Donna (Randy) Ratzlaff of Henderson; eight grandchildren, Carlin (Blake) Buhrman of Hillsboro, Kan., Jonathan Regier of Los Angeles, Calif., Jordan Regier of Abbottsford, Shelby, Jameson and Jackson Brettmann of Fremont, MacKenzie Dick of Wichita, Kan. and Mikaelyn Dick of Henderson; two great-grandchildren, Reece and Landry Buhrman of Hillsboro. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Berdine Buller of Henderson and Carolyn Buller of Fremont, Calif.

    Preceding Don in death were his parents and two brothers.

    Graveside services will be held at 1:15 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Bethesda Cemetery in Henderson. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. at Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson with the Reverend Jim Voth officiating.  
    Visitation will be from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Friday at Metz Mortuary in Henderson. The family will greet friends Friday evening from 7 – 8:30 p.m.  Memorials may be directed to the Bethesda Technology Fund or MCC.
