    Donna R. Nienhueser, 84, of York, NE, formerly of Waco, NE, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019, in York. Donna was born August 21, 1934 in rural York County to Raymond Carl and Gertrude Lorene (Heiden) Rohde. On June 5, 1955 she was married to Lloyd Peters at Hampton, NE. After his death she was married to Stanley Morner on October 20, 1984 at York. After Stanley’s death she was married to Ken Nienhueser on March 28, 2009 at Waco.

    Donna was employed at York Laundry and Cleaners and was an in home daycare provider for over 25 years. An active member of St John Lutheran Church at Waco, she was involved in the Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and was dedicated in changing all of the banners at the church. Her favorite pastime was being with her family attending all of their activities.

    She is survived by her husband Ken Nienhueser of York, son Eugene Peters of Montana, daughters-in-law Cathy Peters of Overland Park, KS, and Donna Osentowski of Lincoln; Step-children; William (Elizabeth) Morner of Glendale, CA., Robert Morner of Glendale, CA, Brian (Michelle) Morner of Colorado, Jeffrey (Kaleen) Nienhueser of Papillion, NE and Melissa Yearian of Fremont, NE.

    Her grandchildren include: Jaylon Peters, Ryan Peters, Madelin Peters, Samantha Peters and Chelsey Yearian.
    Also surviving is her brother, Dale (Alma) Rohde of Fremont, NE and her sister, Linda (John) Davis of Lincoln, NE

    She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, sons, Gregory and Gerald, an infant brother and her daughter-in-law Tonya Peters.

    Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 at St John Lutheran Church south of Waco with the Reverend Matthew Mau officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon with her family greeting friends later that evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the Lutheran Hour Ministries.
