Donna Snyder
Donna Mae Snyder age 84 of York, NE died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at York. She was born March 20, 1934 at York to Francis and Fern (Galusha) McCall. On September 26, 1953 she was married to Dean J. Snyder at St. Joseph Catholic Church in York where she was a long time member. Donna and Dean worked and lived on the farm south of Waco, NE prior to moving to York. She then worked for York General Hospital for over 20 years where she became the director of the laundry department.
She is survived by her husband Dean of York, her children include; Theresa (Tom) Koehn of Lincoln, NE, Mike (Sandi) Snyder of Geneva, NE, Stacey (Merlin) Peters of York, Scott (Denise) Snyder and Brian (Angela) Snyder all of Phoenix, AZ. Her grandchildren are Shana (John) Mayberry of York, Carlie (Jarad) Kinyoun of Fort Worth, TX, Shellie Koehn and Fiancé’ Alan Buntemeyer, Tyler Koehn and Mitchell Snyder all of Lincoln. Grant Snyder of Superior, NE, Bryce (Courtney) Miner of Rapid City, S.D., and Nickolas Snyder also of Phoenix. 7 great grandchildren; McKenzie and Jaydin Mayberry, Zayden Miner, London and Sawyer Buntemeyer, Bowen Snyder and Baby Kinyoun due in October.

Also surviving are her siblings Robert McCall of Granby, MO, George (Diane) McCall of York, Alice Galaway of McCool Junction, Chris Bernt of Lincoln and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Richard McCall and 2 grandsons Colby Bjerrum and Brady Peters.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 7, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in York with Monsignor James Reinert officiating. A Rosary service was held one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery near York. Memorials may be directed to family for later designation, or to St. Joseph Church or St. Joseph Catholic School.
