    Frankie D. Rollins, age 78 of Henderson, died on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at Lincoln.

    He was born on June 20, 1938 to William and Zola (Flynn) Rollins in Kimberly, Idaho. He served in the United States Navy from June 19, 1956 to June 19, 1959. On June 26, 1959, Frankie was united in marriage to Marlene Friedman in Cumberland, Md.

    Frankie loved to work and was a Driver for Burton Enterprises in Henderson. He also served as a volunteer for the Henderson Fire Department for over 40 years. Frankie was a member of and very involved in activities at the Faith Evangelical Bible Church. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

    He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marlene of Henderson; children, William Dale (Lisa) Rollins of Rockwall, Texas, Frankie “Rocky” (Angela) Rollins of Lexington Park, Md., Dave “Moe” (Paula) Rollins of York and Tamara (Kevin) Sheridan of Henderson; eight grandchildren, Erika, Steven, Kelsay, Nichole, Taylor, Austin, Emily and Makayla and five great-grandchildren, Sergei, Keenan, Kinsley, Haddie and Keeley.

    He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Dick (Sandra) Rollins of Monet, Mo., Lee (Judith) Rollins of Buffalo, Mo., Raymond (Dee) Rollins of Buffalo, Mo., Randy (Karen) Rollins of Sarcoxie, Mo., Laura Krous of Beatrice and Hellen (Gene) Dodson of Giltner and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, William Burnsworth; great-grandchildren, Baby Bovee and Emma Anne; brothers, Royal, Irvin and William and sisters, Ivalon Jarzynka, Marilyn Sapp, and Carolina Mae.

    Memorial services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 at the Faith Evangelical Bible Church in Henderson with the Reverend Michael Fink officiating. Inurnment with Navy Military Honors and Henderson Fire Department Last Call will follow at the Faith Evangelical Bible Church Cemetery, Henderson. Frankie has been cremated. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at the mortuary in Henderson. Memorials may be directed to the church or to the family for later designation.​
