Fred W. Kramer age 83 of York, NE died Friday, March 20, 2026 in Lincoln, NE. He was born July 11, 1942 in York to Louis and Susie (Collingham) Kramer. Fred was employed at Kroy Industries in York for over 32 years. On November 25, 1977 he was married to Patricia Reese at York. Fred loved attending dirt track racing, gardening in his yard, playing cards and fishing in the Canadian wilderness. But most of all, Fred enjoyed eating snacks with his great granddaughter.
He is survived by his daughter Heather Kramer of Lincoln, grandchildren Jazmine Kramer and Jayce Kramer all of Lincoln. Great granddaughter Nylah Leavell also of Lincoln.
His brothers include; Jack Kramer of Milford, Kenny Kramer of Lincoln, Ron (Deb) Kramer of Seward, NE, Dennis Kramer of Milford, his sister Linda Siems of IA and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 6 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 nephews.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 am Friday, April 3, 2026 at the Metz Chapel in York. Fred has been cremated there will be no viewing or visitation. Private family inurnment at a later date. Memorials may be directed to his family.
