Helen Sondra Trout, age 66, of York, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in York.
Helen was born on December 9, 1959, in Weiser, Idaho, to Robert and Marjorie (Harris) Brown. She had a deep love for horses and especially enjoyed riding them. Helen also had a passion for photography, finding joy in capturing the beauty and wonder of nature through her lens.
She will be remembered for the simple joys she cherished, her love of animals and the outdoors, and the beautiful moments she captured along the way.
She is survived by her daughter Kyla Trout of Cheyenne, Wyoming and her brother Christopher Neumann of Plymouth, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Verla and Jenny.
Private family services. Cremation. No viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
