    Henry W. Ediger age 91 of Henderson, NE died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Henderson.

    ​He was born December 28, 1920 in rural Henderson to David D. and Elizabeth (Weins) Ediger. Henry farmed in the Henderson and Bradshaw area for 25 years as well as doing carpentry work for 15 years. He was also employed at DART in Henderson for an additional 8 years.  He was a member of the Community Bible Church at Lushton.

    On February 11, 1951 he was married to Arlene M. Kaufman at Moundridge, KS.

    He is survived by his wife Arlene of Henderson, his son Glenn (Shirley) Vassar of York.  His grandchildren include Chris (Angie) Tietmeyer of York and their children William and Dawson Tietmeyer and Chad (Brenda) Tietmeyer of Hampton, NE.
    Also surviving is a sister-in-law Alene Ediger of Henderson and many nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter Jeanne Marie, 5 brothers:  David, Jacob, John, Peter and Abe, and 3 sisters:  Anna, Tena, and Elizabeth.

    Graveside services are scheduled for 1:30 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the F.E.B.C. Cemetery south of Henderson to be followed by a memorial service at 2:30 pm at the Lushton Community Bible Church. Visitation begins after 1:00 pm Monday with his family greeting friends from 7-9:00 pm at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the Henderson Care Center.
