    Hope E. McGraw, age 22 of York, NE died Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Lincoln, NE.  She was born on October 8, 1998 to Stephanie McGraw and Glenn Anderson in York, NE. Hope was a crew leader at McDonald’s in York. Hope loved animals, especially her cats Jeb and Josie.  She enjoyed music, movies, and bowling. Hope loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

    Hope is survived by her mother Stephanie McGraw of York, brother Trent (Jessica) McGraw of St. Louis, MO, brother Pat McGraw of Broken Bow, NE, and sister Brittany (Chad) Hindal of York. She is also survived by her father Glenn Anderson of Hebron, NE, grandparents Bill and Megan McGraw of York, aunt and uncle Tina and James Ekart of York, cousins Morgan Cradick of Lincoln, Araina Cradick of York, Austin Cradick of Utica, NE, and many other family and friends.

    Private family funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2021 at Metz Chapel with the Reverend Tony Dawson officiating. Hope’s funeral service will be webcast live on Metz Mortuary’s Facebook PageA public graveside service will be held following services at the mortuary in Greenwood Cemetery in York. COVID 19 Funeral Guidelines will be implemented with limited spaced seating (75% occupancy), 6 feet of separation between household units, and masks required.

    ​Visitation will be held between 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to her family.
