Jackie Lee Weldon, age 79 of York, NE, died Wednesday, June 3, 2026 in York. He was born on March 4, 1947 to Art and Norma (Christensen) Weldon in York. On March 5, 1983 , he was united in marriage to Donna Weldon in Gresham, NE.
Jack was a laborer. He loved racing and never met a stranger.
He is survived by his children Kim (Tom) Hart of York, Tim (Luann) Sheehan of Central City, NE, Nicki (Scott) West of York, Julie (Troy) Brown of Gretna, NE, Ryan (Nicole) Fushia of Geneva, NE, Danette (Kevin) College of Newberg, PA, Brittany (Justin) Hoeft of Glenwood, IA, twenty one grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, brother Art Weldon of Wilber, NE. 3 nieces, many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda, and grandson Korbyn Fushia, and first wife Delores Quiring. Nephew Chad Weldon son-in-law Steve Kline.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, June 8, 2026 at the First United Methodist Church in York. Inurnment will take place in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Jackie has been cremated. There will be no viewing however there will be a time to sign his book from 1-8:00 pm. Sunday. His family will greet friends from 6-7:30 pm later that same evening all at the mortuary in York. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
