Jean Marie Breen, age 70 of Arlington, VA died February 13, 2025 in Arlington. She was born October 5, 1954 in Fort Crowder, Missouri to John “Jack” and Joan (Kirkpatrick) Breen.
She is survived by her cousins; Roger (Connie) Kirkpatrick of Alda, NE, Clark (Linda) Kirkpatrick of York, NE, Ann (Jim) Wurst of Taylor, NE, Teresa Basich of Shreveport, LA, Mark (Cathy) Kirkpatrick of Ryegate, MT, Michael (Becky) Kirkpatrick El Paso, TX, Vaughn Kirkpatrick and Sue (Dan) Adams all of York.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A joint Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 am Thursday, April 30, 2026 at St Joseph Catholic Church in York. Jean’s mother, Joan Breen, died February 17, 2023 and her life will be celebrated during the same Mass. Both have been cremated so there will be no viewing or visitation. A Rosary service will be prayed at 9:30 am before the mass. Jean will be inurned in the Council Cemetery west of York following services. However, her mother will be returned to Arlington, Va to be inurned in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Information regarding memorials will be forthcoming.
