Jeanette Kriley – Metz Mortuary

Jeanette “Jeanie” E. Kriley, age 78, of Bradshaw, NE, died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Geneva, NE. She was born September 27, 1940 to Virgil and Mary Jane (Omey) Sorensen at Ravenna, NE.  She graduated from Wood River High School in 1958. Jeanie was a waitress for many years at Country Kitchen. She loved her family and her dogs. On August 23, 1996, Jeanie was united in marriage to Ronald D. Kriley at Aurora, NE. She was the best mother her children could ever ask for.

She is survived by her children: Charles K. (Kim) Chollar of Polk, NE, Karri (Michael) May of Salina, KS, and Jaime (Danny) Robinson of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren: Mandy (Matt) Weber of Grand Island, NE, Justin (Lora) Splain of Lincoln, NE, Samuel Robinson of Smyrna, GA, and Alex Robinson of Smyrna, GA; and great grandchildren Adalyn and Ava.

Jeanie is also survived by her siblings: David (Dorothy) Sorensen of Central City, NE, Clara Moody of Omaha, NE, and Debbie Grant of Polk, NE; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Virgil Sorensen, and nephew Scott Moody.

Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Monday, January 21, 2019 at Metz Chapel, York with the Reverend Michelle Reed officiating. Cremation, no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
