    JoAnn Harry, R.N., age 90 of York, died Thursday, Aug, 21, 2014 at York. She was born July 25, 1924 to Chris and Eunice (Myers) Weber in Bradshaw. She graduated from York High School in 1941 and then graduated from Bryan School of Nursing. JoAnn was united in marriage to Robert E. Harry, MD on June 20, 1949 in York.

    JoAnn worked as a registered nurse for a few years and then lent her nursing abilities to her home and community alike. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in York, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was an avid Husker fan.

    Preceded in death by husband, Dr. Robert Harry; daughter, Linda Lum; son-in-law, Dale Bruggeman; brother, Rex Weber; sisters MaryLu (Leland) Bills and Darlene (Dewain) Watt.

    Survived by son, John Harry of Pleasant Dale; daughter, Jean (Gary) Lynn of Omaha; son-in-law, Larry Lum of Holdrege; stepdaughter, Kathy Bruggeman of Lincoln; stepson, Dr. Bob (Maryanne) Harry of Denver, Colo.; sister, Natalie Weber of Castle Rock, Colo.; sister-in-law, Ellen Weber of McCool Junction and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.

    Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church of York. Husker attire is requested to be worn at the service in JoAnn’s honor. Private family burial. The family will hold a visitation and greet guests at Metz Mortuary from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24.
