Leo Mark Weldon, age 68 of Fullerton, NE, died Sunday, April 5, 2026 in Albion, NE. He was born on February 27, 1958 to John and Leah (Parker) Weldon in York, NE. He was one of twelve children.
Leo graduated from York High School in 1976. He had a relatively uncommon disease known as Guillain Barre syndrome. Leo was employed at Grand Central in York. He enjoyed bike riding and playing pool in his free time. Above all, he loved his family and valued the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his siblings Mary McDonald of York; John Weldon of York; Lois (Ed) Crandell of Grand Junction, CO; Harry (Beth) Weldon of York; Tina (Andrew) Howells of Fallon, NV; Jason Weldon of York; Lisa Jewett of Oskaloosa, IA. Leo is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wilbert, sisters JoAnn, Janice, Betty, brothers-in-law Gary and Richard, sisters-in-law Edna and Linda, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Metz Chapel in York with the Revered Mary Scott officiating. Interment will follow in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m., Thursday at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
