She was born October 21, 1936 and was adopted on December 22, 1937 by John and Kate (Epp) Kroeker at the age of 14 months. On May 23, 1953, she was baptized into the Bethesda Mennonite Church at Henderson. Linda was a longtime nurse’s aide for over 40 years with Henderson HealthCare. She was an active member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church, was involved in the Henderson community, and loved to travel with friends to Europe and Taiwan. She also enjoyed spending time with her cats, as well as crocheting, embroidering, and doing puzzles.
She is survived by her cousins: Elva Janzen, Inez Epp and Lorene Friesen all of Henderson, along with other family members.
Graveside services will be held at 1:45 p.m., Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Bethesda Cemetery north of Henderson with the Reverend Jim Voth Officiating. Memorial services will follow at 2:30 p.m., at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Thursday with her family greeting neighbors from 7:00p.m. – 9:00p.m., at the mortuary that evening in Henderson.
