Margaret ‘Peggy’ Wright
Margaret “Peggy” Wright, age 88, of San Jose, Calif., died Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at San Jose.
She was born June 24, 1928 in Grand Junction, Colo. to Harold and Elizabeth (Dodson) Woolverton.
Peggy enjoyed antiquing, taking art lessons, painting and growing flowers in her garden. Peggy also loved watching her soap operas daily. On June 17, 1951 she was married to Jim Wright in Grand Junction.
She is survived by her husband Jim of San Jose, three nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Metz Chapel in York with the Reverend Art Phillips officiating. Burial will be in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
