Merle M. Redman, age 89 of Benedict, NE, died Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Stromsburg, NE. He was born on November 6, 1932 to Albert and Mary (Wilde) Redman in York, NE. Merle was united in marriage to Donna Jean Brackhan in 1954. He co-owned S&R Well Service in Benedict until his retirement. Merle enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughter Leeann (Edwin) Willhoft of Osceola, NE, sons Ted Redman and Tim (Chantelle) Redman, both of Benedict, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Ralph (Marcia) Redman of Polk, NE, sister Hope Nielson of Pasco, WA, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers-in-law: Orval and Guy.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Friday, December 3, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery in York. Merle has been cremated, no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family.
