Michael Snyder – Metz Mortuary

Michael John Snyder, age 50, of York, NE died Sunday, April 11, 2021 at York. He was born June 30, 1970 in Englewood, CO to Robert and Janice (Eis) Snyder. Michael worked as a Machinist at Collins Aerospace in York. He enjoyed cruising on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, woodworking and fishing. On April 16, 1988 he was united in marriage to Tammy Cradick in Utica.

​He is survived by his wife Tammy of York, son Evan Snyder of York, daughters Madison (Ethan) Clark of York and Carly (Marquis) Kirklin of Lincoln. He is also survived by his granddaughter Violet Clark of York, mother Janice Koeneke of York, brothers Jeff (Ana) Snyder of Houston, TX, David Snyder and Linda Kingham of Loveland, CO, sisters Diane Madding (Jim Tyer) of Benton, KY, and Terri Casper of Lexington, NE; Step-sisters Brenda (Scott) Hinze, Beth (Frank) Sandall, and Kim Miller all of York.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, father, and step-mother-in-law.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Metz Chapel in York. Inurnment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, York. No viewing or visitation. Cremation. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
