Norval L. Brackhan, age 72 of York, NE died Monday, November 6, 2023 at York. He was born March 11, 1951 in Waco, NE to Leroy and Reba (Nielsen) Brackhan. He had his own lawn care business for many years in the York area. After his retirement from that he was a volunteer at Blue Valley Community Action in York for over 10 years. He was a member of St John Lutheran Church south of Waco and loved to fish.
He is survived by his brother Lonnie Brackhan and his sister Cindy Johnson, cousin Sue (Jim) Luethje, special friends include: Nancy (Matt) Lee and Bruce McVicker, and numerous other cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his uncle Ernie Brackhan.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation. No viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to St John Lutheran Church south of Waco or to Blue Valley Community Action in York.
