Patricia Driewer
Patricia Ellen (Phillips) Driewer, age 47, of Lincoln, NE, passed to be with her Lord and Savior on August 8, 2012 at Lincoln. She was born September 14, 1964 at York, NE, the fourth of four daughters, to Glenn and Gladys (Lord) Phillips. She was a 1982 graduate of Benedict High School and attended UNL. She represented Nebraska in the 1982 Miss National Teenager USA pageant.
Bryan Driewer and Patricia were united in marriage in 1991. They made their home in rural Bradshaw where Bryan was engaged in farming with his family. To this union were born three children; Miranda Ellen, Deitrich Douglas, and Benjamin Bryan. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Hampton. Patty was an avid gardener who enjoyed cultivating a wide variety of perennial flowers, especially day lilies.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, and is survived by her children of Bradshaw, NE, parents of Benedict, NE, and sisters; Jenny (Juan) Solano of Benicia, CA, Laura (Greg) Schneider of Hastings, NE, and Barbara (Tom) Lechtenberg of Hutchinson, KS, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends to cherish her memory.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church of Hampton, NE on Saturday, August 11 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, Hampton. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
