He formerly was a Correctional Officer at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women in York, NE. Randy enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, was an avid Rams football fan enjoyed country music.
Randy is survived by his daughter Miranda (Manuel) Rodriquez of York, NE, and his grandchildren Sebastian Rodriquez, Manuel Rodriquez and Andre Rodriquez all of York. He is also survived by his brother Andy (Dorothy) Hergenreder of Johnson Lake, NE, his sister Vanessa (David) Howe of Columbus, NE, his nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Metz Chapel in York. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday with memorials being directed to the family for later designation. Randy will be cremated following services so there will be no committal services.
