Richard “Rick” Alan Arbogast – Metz Mortuary

Rick Arbogast age 43 of York, died Sunday March 1, 2009 at York. He was born November 28, 1965 in Wichita, KS to Glenn and Shirley (Beckley) Arbogast. He was a 1984 graduate of York High School. Rick served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp. On April 19, 1986 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Campbell at Carlsbad, CA.

​Rick was the manager of Culligan Water Conditioning Service in York. Previously he worked as a car salesman at Auffenberg Motors in O’Fallon, IL. Rick attended the First United Methodist Church in York and was a member of the Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and the time spent with his children.

Surviving is his wife Carolyn of York; children: Joshua Arbogast of Ft. Benning, GA, Aleisia Arbogast of St. Louis, MO; James, Sean, Kinslee and Kylee Arbogast all of York; parents Glenn and Shirley Arbogast of York; brother David (Tara) Arbogast of Martelle; and sisters Cynthia (Allen) Miller of Gresham, Kendra Brewster of Colorado, and Shelly Brewster of North Carolina. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Reverend Art Phillips officiating. Visitation will begin at the mortuary at 1 p.m. Wednesday with family greeting friends on Thursday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family.
