Ronald Arthur Wulf – Metz Mortuary

    Ronald Arthur Wulf 
    Ronald Arthur Wulf, age 70, of York, NE passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at York General Hospital.  Ron is the son of Arthur and Bessie (Nedza) Wulf.  He was born in Geneva, NE on November 14, 1943.

    Ron grew up in Ohiowa, NE and attended Ohiowa Public School.  He graduated in 1962.  After high school he joined the National Guard in August 0f 1964, taking his basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina.  He served in the 134th Infantry at Fairbury, NE through 1970.  He was united in marriage to Phyllis T. Jareske on August 24, 1968 at St. Lawrence Church in Silver Creek, NE.

    Ron was a hard worker, his last job being held with Sargent Drilling. He enjoyed hunting and following sports.  Spending time with his family and following his grandchildren’s activities were of most significance.

    Those who remain to cherish his memory are wife Phyllis; three daughters: Sandi (Clark) Pickrel, Michelle (Kelly) Sinsel, and Cheryl (Keith) Broman; seven grandchildren: Preston and his fiancé Paige Strothkamp, Nathan Jacobe, Gage and Grace Sinsel; Jamey, Kyle, and Jordan Broman; three step-grandchildren: Collin, Carlie, and Cassandra Pickrel; his mother Bessie; sisters: Kathleen and Al Hoffmaster, Dorothy and Larry smith, and Patricia Hosick; and his twin brother Robert and Louise Wulf.

    He was preceded in death by his dad Arthur and brother-in-law Randy Hosick.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, York with Monsignor James Reinert officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. A rosary will be said at 6:30 pm, Monday, February 17, 2014 at Metz Chapel.  Visitation will begin Monday at 1:00 PM.  Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
