Rose Mary Linder, age 89, of York, NE, died Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Waco, NE. She was born January 6, 1930 in Benedict, NE to Ralph and Maria (Prell) Schall. On August 30, 1947 she was united in marriage to Harlan D. Linder in York. Rose Mary enjoyed bowling, camping, and traveling with her family. She is a former member of the Hygene United Methodist Church in Hygene, CO.
She is survived by her daughters Nancy (Richard) Shockey and Deanette Entihar both of York, and son Robert Linder of Denver, CO. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brother Ralph Jr. (Shay) Schall of Jacksonville, FL, sister Viola Hoeft of Henderson, and her sister-in-law Karen Schall of Pierce, NE.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Shirley Wagner, infant sister Patsy Ruth, one grandson, brothers and sisters-in-law Larry and Phyllis Schall, Arthur and Sue Schall, and Walter Schall.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2019 at Metz Chapel, York. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, York. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, June 13, with her family greeting friends between 6:00 – 7:30 PM that same evening at the mortuary in York. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
