Sandra Bryant – Metz Mortuary

Sandra H. Bryant, age 78, of Grand Island, NE, formerly Gresham, NE, died Thursday April 11, 2019 at Henderson, NE.  She was born November 27, 1940 to Cyril and Phyllis (Wilder) Rhodes Sr. at Puyallup, WA. She was a homemaker and also a caregiver for Home Companions. She enjoyed playing Bingo, shopping, watching old westerns, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her sons Rick (Kathy) Davidson of Grand Island and Kip (Tiffany) Davidson of Salado, TX, daughters Renee (Rod) Krumm of Lincoln, NE, Michelle (Warren) Whelan of Aurora, NE, and Kimberly Davidson of Campbell, NE, 15 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Cyril L. (Shirley) Rhodes of Gresham, nieces and nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant child.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Gresham Presbyterian Church with John Nellesen officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Gresham. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 – 8:00 pm, Sunday, April 13, with the family greeting friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the mortuary in York. Memorial may be directed to the family for later designation.
