    Theo White
    Theo P (Campbell) White, age 86 years and 7 months, of McCool Jct. died peacefully at her daughter LaMoine’s home at 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 4,  2011 with the love, compassion and support of Aseracare Hospice and RN Jami Anson.

    Theo (Campbell) White was born February 4, 1925 in Zwolle, La. to Harrison and Lilly Pearl (Young) Campbell. Theo met her husband John B White of McCool Jct. while John was serving in the US Army at Fort Polk in Louisiana.

    They married in August of 1942 in Zwolle, La. They returned to McCool Jct. and John and Theo celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary before his death in 2006. Theo loved her family and especially little children.

    She was a wonderful grandmother and her greatest joy was time spent with her four grandchildren Ryan, Amber, Mandy, Ginger and her two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Erin Roth.

    She also loved nature, animals, the pine forests and the swamps of her beloved childhood home in Louisiana.

    She is survived by her son, Johnny and wife Alice White of Bakersfield, Calif.; granddaughters, Mandy (Henry) Kaiser of Manhattan, N.Y. and Ginger and her fiancé Pat Carson of Buellton Calif.; daughter, LaMoine and husband Bob of York; grandson, Ryan and wife Liana Roth of Scottsdale Ariz.; great-grandson and granddaughter, Hayden and Erin Roth of Scottsdale, Ariz; granddaughter, Amber Roth of Fayetteville, Ark.; her sister and brother-in-law, Max and Thelma Biegert of Paradise Valley, Ariz. and sister-in-law, Inetta Campbell of Zwolle, La.; a special niece, Rebecca (Biegert) Conti and husband Vincent of Flagstaff,  Ariz.; many nieces, nephews and friends including Tammy Swantek and family; and her loyal and beloved dog “Baby”.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John B., one sister, May Anderson, five brothers, SL, Cleveland, Robert, Thayer and Barney Campbell.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 10 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in McCool Jct. where she attended church for over 67 years. A rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Metz Chapel in York. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery east of York. Memorials may be made to York Adopt a Pet.
