Left to cherish his memory are three daughters: Angela and husband James Adams and their children Jai and Dalton of Lincoln, Tracy Troutman and her children, Jenna, Maya, and Cole of Lincoln, and Jacqueline Troutman of Chicago, IL
Tom is also survived by his siblings: William G. (Elnora) Troutman of Bradshaw, NE, Robert Troutman of York, Jerry (Beverly) Troutman of York, Megan (William) McGraw of York, Peggy (Robert) Frerichs of Longwood, FL, David (Linda) Troutman of York, Leslie Troutman of Lincoln, and Rebecca Rea of York; numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia Troutman; brother, Frederick Troutman; two nieces; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Metz Chapel in York. Interment will be in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 pm Wednesday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the family.

Thomas N. Troutman, age 68, of Lincoln, NE died Monday, August 25, 2014 at his home. He was born December 8, 1945 in York, NE to William and Margaret (Grey) Troutman. Tom was a warehouse receiver at Fleming Foods in Lincoln for over 30 years. He loved sports and was an avid bowler until Multiple Sclerosis obstructed his ability to participate. Tom had an excellent sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke with others. He will be remembered as a true optimist and someone who always saw the positive in people and situations.
