He was born July 3, 1928 in York to Walter and Marie (Conley) Trollope. He graduated with the Waco High School class of 1947. He served in the Army during the Korean War from April 13, 1951 until he was honorably discharged on April 12, 1953. Wesley received his Nebraska Real Estate License in 1960 and continued in the real estate business for many years.
He lived a colorful life and championed many causes over the years. Wesley was a proud member of the National Rifle Association and attended numerous gun shows throughout the country. His faith, family, and country were the center of his life.
Wesley is survived by his brother, Delbert Trollope of Los Angeles, Calif.; niece, Erika Van Dam of Temecula, Calif.; nephews, Brandon and Skylar Van Dam and great nephews Mason and Darin Van Dam. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother Sadie Westwood Trollope.
As per his wishes, Wesley was buried at Greenwood Cemetery in York with no services at this time. Memorials may be directed to the National Rifle Association or the John Birch Society.
