    Willard H. Friesen age 94 of Henderson, NE died Friday, October 12, 2012 at Henderson.
     
    He was born July 18, 1918 at Henderson to Henry and Katharina (Friesen) Friesen and was a longtime farmer in the Henderson area. As an active member of Bethesda Mennonite church he was also a DeKalb seed dealer for many years, member of the Wrench Club, Corn Club, was an avid antique collector, enjoyed auctions and was a former member of the Henderson Hospital Board.

    On October 29, 1941 he was married to Bertha Wall at Henderson.
     
    He is survived by his wife Bertha of Henderson, his son Orie (Linda) Friesen of Henderson, daughters; Twila (Laurel) Preheim of Omaha, NE and Charlene (John) Goertzen of Bradshaw, NE.

    17 Great Grandchildren.
     
    He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters.
     
    Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Bethesda Cemetery north of Henderson to be followed by Memorial services at 11:00 am Tuesday at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson with the Reverend Jim Voth officiating. Visitation begins after 1:00 pm Sunday afternoon with his family greeting friends Monday evening from 7-8:30 pm at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the MCC or to the Bethesda Mennonite Church.
